Community Involvement
Many companies are just happy to make a decent profit and be a good employer, but at Benicia Plumbing, we aren’t satisfied by that alone. Since the very first day, we’ve stressed the importance of helping the community in which we do business and that’s why we have stepped up again and again. It’s not something we do because we feel we need to, we do it because it’s in our DNA. By reaching out and helping numerous organizations over the years with generous donations and by donating time, we truly walk the walk when it comes to giving back.
In December, 2004, Benicia Plumbing participated in an episode of ABC-TV's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, cooperating with other Bay Area contractors to build a five bathroom house with special appointments for a young woman in Martinez suffering from Krabbe disease.
Charities and non-profit organizations Benicia Plumbing supports include:
- American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Benicia Team and Chairmanship (since 2003)
- Hurricane Katrina Clothes Collection (2008)
- Habitat for Humanity (2004)
- Benicia Chamber of Commerce
- Vallejo Chamber of Commerce
