William J. Cawley
William J. Cawley serves as CEO/Founder of Benicia Plumbing, Inc. He is responsible for the development of all union personnel and the company’s commitment of “People taking care of people.” William also oversees the firm’s involvement with the community and other local events.
Mr. and Mrs. Cawley (Leeann) founded Benicia Plumbing, Inc., on December 1, 1975. Since then, this progressive couple has surrounded themselves with key personnel to build the company to what it is today.
With over 45 years of service to the plumbing industry, Bill’s greatest involvement continues with his leadership for three local Plumbers and Pipefitters Apprenticeship Training Committees. He is a member of the State of California’s Apprenticeship Training Committee and is a Past President of the Northern California Mechanical Contractor’s Association.
After graduating from Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, California, Mr. Cawley began and completed a five-year Apprenticeship Training Program with the United Association of Journeyman and Apprentices of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local #159 in Contra Costa County, California and since then has served the plumbing industry for over 45 years. Bill holds his C-36, (Plumbing), C-34 (Pipeline), C-42 (Sanitation System) and C-16 (Fire Protection) California Contractor Licenses.
During his free time, Mr. Cawley enjoys traveling in America, specifically the Hawaiian Islands and Montana. He and his wife, Leeann have four children and seven grandchildren.
